Senior/Expert Cost & Pricing Analysts

Location: Reston, VA/Bolling AFB, Washington, DC

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Job Description: Provides cost/price analysis support with comprehensive knowledge of the full scope of laws, regulations, and policies that affect both the development of IGCEs and the cost/price analysis of proposal submitted for all pre-award contracting activities up to and including contract award.

Job Requirements

  • Requires 8-12 years of experience – Senior Level w/Bachelor’s Degree
  • Requires 13+ years of experience – Expert Level w/Master’s degree
  • Must have performed relevant actions with relevant experience within the last 2 years.
  • Perform cost/price analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements.
  • Assists in the development of and/or make recommendations for the cost/price objectives to be used in negotiations.
  • Provide a forecast of price trends, economic factors and efficiencies in production for future accounting periods using analytical techniques such as random sampling, cost models, and parametric cost models.
  • Request, coordinate and integrate into a comprehensive pricing report the various technical evaluations of cost elements
  • Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies to solve issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of direct vs. indirect cost methodologies
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and historical data points.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for program management and acquisition-based requirements and it’s enabling services.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the FAR/DFAR, and other IC/DoD statutes and regulation policy
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in resolving multifaceted or critical time-sensitive issues.
